Get started with KopyPaste#

KopyPaste lets you create, save, and share text, code, and rich content easily. Use it offline or share with others instantly.

Create a paste#

You can create pastes with or without signing in:

Without signing in#

1. Visit KopyPaste: Go to paste.knowivate.com
2. Create content: Type or paste your text, code, or use the rich text editor.
3. Add images (desktop only): Drag and drop images directly into the editor.
4. Share (optional): Click "Share" to get a public link. Expires in 7 days.

With signing in#

1. Sign in: Create a Knowivate Account or sign in.
2. Create content: Access more rich text features and formatting options.
3. Share: Pastes expire in 90 days (longer than guest users).
4. Manage later: Access your pastes from Dashboard

Paste expiration#

KopyPaste is designed for temporary content. All pastes expire automatically:

• Guest users: Pastes expire after 7 days
• Logged in users: Pastes expire after 90 days
• After expiration: Content is automatically deleted and cannot be recovered
• Manual deletion: Logged in users can delete their pastes anytime

Privacy and visibility#

Public pastes (paste.knowivate.com)#

When you share from paste.knowivate.com, your paste is public by default. Anyone with the link can access it.

Private pastes (Dashboard)#

When you create pastes from business.knowivate.com/dashboard/paste, they are private by default. You can make them public anytime.

Save and export#

Save your pastes in multiple formats:

• .docx - Microsoft Word format
• .html - Web format with formatting
• .txt - Plain text format

Offline mode#

KopyPaste works completely offline. Your content is stored locally on your device and never sent to servers unless you click "Share".

• Local pastes remain until you clear browser data/cookies
• No expiration for local-only content
• Data stays on your device only
