Smart Lead Import#

The Outreach™ Import Wizard is designed to handle large datasets with ease, providing multiple ways to bring your leads into the system.

Import Methods#

• Drag & Drop: Simply drag your CSV or external spreadsheet file onto the import area to begin parsing.
• Global Paste: Copy data (CSV, TSV, or spreadsheet rows) and paste them directly from your clipboard into the wizard.

Data Mapping#

The wizard automatically identifies standard information, but you also have full control over how your data is organized:

• Custom Tags & Categories: Easily map spreadsheet columns to specific tags or categories to keep your leads organized exactly how you want.
• Flexible Fields: Any column from your file can be imported as a custom field, ensuring no information is lost during the process.

Smart Upsert (Update Existing)#

Avoid duplicate records with our intelligent upsert logic:

• Enable the Update Existing toggle in the import wizard.
• The system will check for matches based on the Owner and Phone Number.
• Matches will be updated with the new information instead of creating new entries.
