Keep your Knowivate Account secure with strong passwords, login monitoring, and security best practices.

Password management#

Change your password#

Update your password regularly to keep your account secure:

1. Sign in: Log in to your Knowivate Account
2. Go to Security Settings: Navigate to Change Password
3. Enter current password: Verify your identity
4. Enter new password: Must be at least 6 characters
5. Confirm new password: Re-enter to verify
6. Save: Click "Update Password" to apply changes

Forgot your password#

Reset your password if you can't sign in:

1. Visit forgot password: Go to Forgot Password
2. Enter your email: Provide your registered email address
3. Check your email: You'll receive a password reset link
4. Click the link: Opens the reset password page
5. Create new password: Enter and confirm your new password
6. Sign in: Use your new password to access your account

Password security tips#

Create strong passwords to protect your account:

• Use at least 8 characters: Longer passwords are harder to crack
• Mix character types: Include uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters
• Avoid common words: Don't use dictionary words or personal information
• Don't reuse passwords: Use unique passwords for each account
• Update regularly: Change your password periodically

Login history#

Knowivate logs all login attempts to help you monitor account activity and detect unauthorized access.

View your login history#

Check your recent login activity:

1. Sign in: Log in to your Knowivate Account
2. Go to User Info: Navigate to your account dashboard
3. View login logs: See all successful and failed login attempts

What's logged#

Each login attempt records:

• Status: Successful or failed login
• Date and time: When the attempt occurred
• Device information: Browser and operating system
• Location: Approximate geographic location (if available)

Manage login logs#

You can delete old login logs to clean up your history. This doesn't affect your account security.

Two-factor authentication#

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security by requiring a second verification step when signing in.

Sign-in methods#

Knowivate offers three secure ways to sign in:

Email and password#

Traditional sign-in with your email and password. Make sure to use a strong, unique password.

Email OTP#

Sign in with a one-time password sent to your email. This is useful if you don't remember your password or want extra security.

Sign in with Google#

Use your Google account to sign in instantly. This leverages Google's security features and is the fastest sign-in method.

Suspicious activity#

If you notice suspicious activity on your account:

1. Change your password immediately: Use the Change Password page
2. Review login history: Check for unauthorized access attempts
